Browsing the public site
The website code does not add analytics or advertising trackers. It does not use browser storage to save your contact draft.
The site is delivered through a hosting service and supporting infrastructure, including Cloudflare. Hosting and security services may process connection information such as IP addresses and traffic data to deliver and protect the site. This is separate from the page’s contact-draft feature.
Host-side processing and retention depend on the services and their configuration. This notice does not specify an exact host-log retention period. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its description of end-user information processing, or ask the project about its hosting arrangements.
Drafts and correspondence
The About & Contact page prepares an email draft in your browser. Preparing or reviewing it does not submit your message to the project. Copying the text or opening the draft in an email app moves it into the tools you choose; those tools may store or synchronize it under their own settings.
If you send an email, the project receives your email address, message and any other information you include. Correspondence is used to respond to your enquiry and follow up on what you request. Please avoid client information, confidential documents and sensitive personal information.
An interest or updates request is made by email. It does not automatically enrol you in a study, establish eligibility or provide research consent. You can ask the project to stop further updates.
Retention and future studies
Correspondence may be retained in email systems as a record of enquiries and follow-up. A fixed retention period has not yet been published. You can ask about current retention arrangements or request deletion of your correspondence.
A future study or platform service would need its own information about data collection, access, uses, safeguards and retention before people take part. This notice describes the public website and contact route.
Privacy questions and requests
Contact the project at [email protected] with a privacy question, concern, request to access or correct correspondence, deletion request, or request to stop updates. Identify the relevant correspondence without adding unnecessary sensitive information.
For general Canadian privacy guidance, see the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada’s guidance on openness and meaningful consent.
